Australia’s Lloyd Spiegel and Canada’s Charlie A’Court may come from opposite ends of the world, but their commanding performance styles, mutual passion for the Blues and death-defying touring schedules gives them a great deal in common.
Over the past decade, these two guitar slingers have collaborated several times on tours and festival bills and even released an album as part of the ‘ASV’ project with Canadian Blues legend Suzie Vinnick, winning a Canadian East Coast Music Award along the way. Charlie is touring Australia throughout May and June and the two friends have taken the opportunity to perform a limited run of intimate double bills, performing solo and together.

Lloyd Spiegel is a bluesman at his core, a guitarist by trade, a comedian by nature and a showman at heart. The 14 time Australian Blues Award winner began performing at age 10 and has dedicated his life to creating a signature style that honours the traditions of the music he loves, while creating a link in the chain of its evolution. He delivers a unique, captivating performance that crosses genres and generations, blending powerful vocals and jaw-dropping guitar prowess with a knack for humour and storytelling.
