Alt/Soul band Skinny Living will make their long-awaited Australian live debut in October 2026, bringing their raw, harmony-drenched sound and reputation for unforgettable shows to their antipodean fans for the first time.

The tour will take in much of the east coast, culminating with three incredible performances at the Airlie Beach Festival of Music in the stunning Whitsundays.

With over 90 million global streams, a UK No.1 Independent Album (Day by Day, 2024), sold-out UK tours and support slots with Noah Kahan, Calum Scott, James Arthur and Gabrielle already under their belt, Skinny Living arrive off the back of their boldest release yet, EP 9, the final chapter of a visionary trilogy inspired by Nikola Tesla’s 3-6-9 theory.

Known for blending soul, alt-indie and modern grit, Skinny Living echo the timeless warmth of Bill Withers, Van Morrison and Paolo Nutini while remaining unmistakably their own. Frontman Ryan Johnston’s haunted-yet-hopeful Irish voice intertwines with the intricate guitar work and soaring harmonies of Danny Hepworth, creating songs that feel unpolished, deeply human and built to linger.

The band’s name says it all: “Skinny Living is a term that describes the financial reality and lifestyle of the working class. Hard graft on a low income, with a lust for life, passion for family and an optimistic attitude about the future.”

After a decade of relentless hard graft, a chance meeting at an open-mic night and word-of-mouth growth, Skinny Living are ready to share their story of struggle, resilience and glorious soul music with Australian audiences.

With Sydney and Melbourne sitting inside the band’s Top 5 most-streamed cities worldwide, demand is massive and venues are intimate.

These debut shows are long overdue and tickets are limited. Be quick!
