Remembering Whitney is a Sydney, Australia-based show that honours the very great Whitney Houston. In "Remembering Whitney", Keyboard-player/Musical Director Sam McNally takes pride in introducing the spectacular and very experienced Bec Caruana, and emerging new artists Sheena Wilbow (known and loved in Sydney’s Soul/Funk music community) and Aaliya Duchesne (who stunned ‘Australian Idol’ judges in 2024). These three girls are more than capable of tackling the Whitney song-book. Together, they’re dynamite.

Whitney Houston is one of the most awarded performers of all time. A "cultural icon", she influenced the breaking down of gender and race barriers through her music chart successes, and her music video's. Whitney was ranked second on Rolling Stone's list of "greatest singers of all time" in 2023. She achieved sales of more than 220 million records sold, world-wide. Her first two albums, along with The Bodyguard soundtrack, rank among the "best-selling albums of all time". Guiness World Records named Whitney Houston the "highest-earning female celebrity" (posthumously). More simply, Whitney is held in the highest esteem by virtually all of the worlds great vocal performers. For many female singers, she is simply “the best”.

Sam McNally - Piano, Keyboards, Musical Director
Sam McNally is one of Australiaʼs most experienced and accomplished keyboard-players. He was a member of 70ʼs Blue-Eyed Soulsters, "Stylus”. Motown Records released their 3rd album in the US, to great reviews! He’s recorded and/or toured with Air Supply, Tommy Emmanuel, Tim Finn, Sharon OʼNeill, Louie Shelton, Doug Williams and Coloured Stone. Sam has had compositions recorded by Tommy Emmanuel, Richard Clapton, Stylus and Louie Shelton. Heʼs lived and worked in Kuala Lumpur, Bangkok, Shenzhen and Tokyo...in addition to his adopted home town of Sydney, having grown up in Melbourne. He’s recorded 5 albums of his own music, since 1980, and remains active in Music Education as well. In 2025, Sam appears with Matt Arthur & The Lazybones, Simone Waddell, Funkstar, The Happy Endings and Ally Friendship.

Bec Caruana - Vocal
Bec Caruana is a multi-platinum award winning songwriter & singer, her works have sold over 1.8 million units all over the world. Sheena Wilbow - Vocal
She’s the epitome of class and style, with a good dash of sass in the mix. And humble. It’s pretty rare in the music biz to come across an artist who seamlessly exudes both star-quality and girl-next-door down-to-Earth-ness, but this gorgeous gal does effortlessness. She's even played in LA at the Viper Room in front of Ronan Keating,  Good Charlotte, Leona Lewis and The Veronicas! Reaching the top 6 groups of the X Factor Australia in 2011 has been one of Sheena's many huge achievements as a singer/songwriter.

Aaliyah Duchesne - Vocal
Aaliyah is a 29 year old Australian born artist with a south African background who embraces her soulful black roots. Her sound caters to R&B/Soul with her powerful unique raspy tone that makes heads turn and has love for bringing back the “old school R&B sound”. Aaliyah took a leap of faith in 2024 to auditioned for Australian Idol season 10. She brought the judges to tears, received 2 standing ovations and blew the judges away in her audition so much so that all 3 of the judges walked out with her to tell her family and friends that she received a golden ticket
